Maria Menounos (born June 8, 1978) is an actress, journalist, American television hostess and occasional wrestler of Greek origin.

Menounos was born in Medford, Massachusetts, visited the Boston Emerson College where he participated in the Emerson independent video organization. She graduated from Emerson in 2000

During his last year at Emerson Menounos he worked as a reporter for News Channel One. For their 10-minute segments, she went to El Salvador to report on the earthquake in El Salvador, she asked members of the NATO crew on board an E-3 AWACS plane during the Clay Angel Eagle Operation Military and President George W. Bush interviewed

As actress Menounos had recurring roles on CBS television program without leaving a trace and as Jules in the second season of CW One Tree Hill (during his WB race). Menounos also appeared on the Scrubs episode "My Extra Mile", which aired in May 2006.

In 2008, he was a Green Green Guest on the Green Network Planet. In 2008 he had a role in Tropic Thunder, and in the same year he became the first journalist (and still the only one) to interview the entire Obama family as a whole.

August 4, 2011 was announced that they are engaged in Warner Bros. Extra, where they will host the show with Mario Lopez. It will also have Dr. Drew Lifechangers roles on-air and develop new projects

In May 2014, after three years of hosting Extra, Menounos left the show and signed a multi-year contract with E! Entertainment, where they host and produce more programs. In July 2015, Hollywood Reporter announced that Menounos Giuliana Rancic would replace as co-conductor of E! News.
